The Project
Our client approached us with a burned-out building with only the front elevation and part of the side walls still remaining. The premises had been formerly used as retail with storage above.

Our role
Having investigated market demand for residential we chose to return the ground floor to retail with the upper parts being extended to be able to accommodate 5 high quality one bedroom flats.

We selected a professional team, oversaw the design process, secured a planning consent, worked with the team to finalise design to go out to tender, oversaw the tender process, selected and appointed a contractor and managed the building works.

Once completed, we prepared one of the residential flats as a show home and subsequently oversaw the successful letting and maintenance of all five apartments. We also relocated one of the tenants from the Market Place development into the ground floor shop.

Outcome
The scheme was completed on time and within budget.
