Market Place Mews, Henley

Market Place Mews lies between Market Place and the Kings Road car park which serves the town centre and adjacent supermarket. The site is currently a mixture of unattractive overgrown back land and private parking spaces. The objective is to create a gateway from the Kings Road car park through Market Place Mews into Market Place.

The scheme proposed comprised 16,000 sq ft of retail and restaurants and 14 apartments above with 14 parking spaces to serve the residential element. It was a complex project involving mainly new build but with the use of some existing buildings and alterations thereto, including alterations to listed buildings.

The planning was implemented when the Phase I works were carried out in August 2013.
